John V Tucker John V Tucker came to University of Wales Swansea as Professor of Computer Science in 1989. As Head of Department since
1994, he has been responsible for the development of
Computer Science at Swansea. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of British Computer Society. He is Chair of the Steering Committee for IT Wales. John's current research is on the theory of data, which has unlimited applications. He has published many research papers and books on data, system design, graphics and hardware. A senior UK computer scientist, he is an editor of five international scientific journals and monograph series and is active in a range of activities of the national and international computer science research community. |
