Mae Technocamps wedi cael cydnabyddiaeth am y gwaith y mae'n ei wneud ledled Cymru trwy gyrraedd y rhestr fer yn y Gwobrau STEM Cymru cyntaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Technocamps yn rhaglen allgymorth i ysgolion, cymunedau a diwydiant ledled Cymru. Mae wedi'i lleoli ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe, ac mae ganddi hybiau ym mhob prifysgol ledled Cymru. Mae'n fraint cael bod ymhlith 42 o gwmn\u00efau, prosiectau ac unigolion arloesol i gyrraedd y rhestr fer ar gyfer gwobrau eleni, gwobrau y mae yna ddisgwyl eiddgar amdanynt. Mae'r gwobrau hyn yn dathlu'r rhai sy'n hyrwyddo ac yn gwneud gwahaniaeth i STEM (Gwyddoniaeth, Technoleg, Peirianneg a Mathemateg) yng Nghymru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Technocamps wedi cyrraedd rhestr fer y categori Rhaglen Addysgol y Flwyddyn STEM, lle'r oedd y beirniaid yn chwilio am dystiolaeth o fenter a oedd naill ai: yn mynd i'r afael \u00e2'r bwlch amrywiaeth yn y pynciau STEM; yn mynd i'r afael \u00e2'r prinder sgiliau; neu'n ceisio ysbrydoli a meithrin dyheadau'r genhedlaeth nesaf. Cydnabyddir bod Technocamps yn rhagorol ym mhob un o'r tri maen prawf hyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae gweithgarwch traddodiadol Technocamps yn canolbwyntio ar ddarparu gweithdai ymarferol ar gyfer Ysgolion Uwchradd er mwyn annog disgyblion i astudio pynciau cyfrifiadurol a phynciau STEM ar lefel TGAU a Safon Uwch, a thu hwnt. Mae ei raglen Cyfrifiadura Maes Chwarae yn gweithio gydag Ysgolion Cynradd er mwyn gwrthsefyll y broblem gydnabyddedig mewn perthynas \u00e2 grwpiau penodol o bobl ifanc \u2013 yn enwedig merched \u2013 sy'n ymddieithrio oddi wrth bynciau STEM yn y cyfnod pontio rhwng y Cynradd a'r Uwchradd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae ei raglen Technoteach yn darparu datblygiad proffesiynol a hyfforddiant mawr eu hangen ar gyfer athrawon sy'n gyfrifol am gyflwyno'r cwricwlwm cyfrifiadurol newydd. Mae hyn yn arbennig o bwysig o ystyried nad oes gan 75% o athrawon TGCh y wlad unrhyw hyfforddiant ffurfiol mewn TGCh, heb s\u00f4n am y pwnc gwyddonol, cyfrifiadura, y gofynnir iddynt ei gyflwyno gyda'r cwricwlwm newydd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yn olaf, mae'r Sefydliad Codio yng Nghymru yn cynrychioli cangen ddiwydiannol Technocamps, sy'n darparu cyfleoedd ar gyfer datblygiad proffesiynol i fusnesau'r genedl. Yn benodol, mae Technocamps wedi arwain y ffordd o ran darparu prentisiaethau gradd digidol, a bu'n gyfrifol am y cohort cyntaf (a'r unig un hyd yma) o fyfyrwyr Gradd-brentisiaeth i raddio yng Nghymru, a hynny yn 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bydd pawb ar y rhestr fer 'nawr yn cael eu hystyried gan banel o feddylwyr entrepreneuraidd o Gymru, sydd ar flaen y gad mewn diwydiant, a bydd enillydd pob un o'r 15 o gategor\u00efau yn cael ei gyhoeddi yn y seremoni wobrwyo yn Neuadd y Ddinas Caerdydd ar 1 Mai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
