Roedd yn bleser gan Technocamps gynnal Dathliad Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Merched ITWales unwaith yn rhagor,sydd bellach yn ei 19eg flwyddyn, a hynny yng Ngwesty'r Marriott yn Abertawe nos Wener 8 Mawrth 2019. Roedd y digwyddiad eleni yn canolbwyntio ar Ddatblygiad yn Gynnar mewn Gyrfa, a llwyddodd ein siaradwyr gwadd i gynnig dirnadaeth, dealltwriaeth ac ysbrydoliaeth i fwy na 180 o westeion a oedd wedi ymgynnull ar gyfer y Digwyddiad Mawreddog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arweinydd y noson oedd Mr Kevin Johns MBE, sy'n fwyaf adnabyddus, o bosibl, am ei sioe radio ar Sain Abertawe, ei berfformiadau fel hen wraig y panto, a'i waith gyda sawl elusen leol. Agorodd y noson \u00e2 rhywfaint o hiwmor ysgafn, a osododd y naws ar gyfer noson oleuedig, llawn diddanwch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roedd y siaradwyr gwadd yn cynnwys Julie James, Aelod Cynulliad Gorllewin Abertawe, sydd wedi bod yn gefnogwr brwd i'r rhaglen a'i hamcanion am nifer o flynyddoedd. Rhoddodd Julie Walters, Rheolwr Prosiect Technocamps, ddiweddariad i'r gwesteion ynghylch amcanion y rhaglen o ran annog pobl ifanc \u2013 yn enwedig merched \u2013 i ymddiddori mewn pynciau STEM. Synnwyd a syfrdanwyd y gwesteion gan y dadansoddiad ystadegol o\u2019r Byd Digidol gan Dr Penny Holborn,o Brifysgol De Cymru. Aeth Andrea Meyrick, Pennaeth Addysg Techniquest,ar drywydd anarferol, gan gynnal arbrawf gwyddonol ar y llwyfan, a oedd yn cynnwys dod \u00e2 fformiwl\u00e2u mathemategol yn fyw, gan arwain at y rhan fwyaf o'r gynulleidfa yn ysu am gael gwirio eu gwerslyfrau i ganfod y modd y mae cyfrifo cyfaint silindr!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ar \u00f4l y cinio mawreddog, soniodd yr Athro Wendy Dearing am heriau ei llwybr gyrfa a'r modd y llwyddodd i oresgyn disgwyliadau cymdeithasol er mwyn gwireddu ei hamcanion academaidd a phroffesiynol. Cyflwynodd hefyd ddau o'i chyd-weithwyr uchel eu parch o Wasanaeth Gwybodeg GIG Cymru, a siaradodd yn angerddol am gamau cynnar eu gyrfaoedd eu hunain, ynghyd \u00e2'r rhwystrau y bu'n rhaid iddynt eu goresgyn er mwyn gwireddu eu hamcanion galwedigaethol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roedd noddwr Technocamps hefyd yn bresennol, sef Beti Williams MBE, sydd wedi cael nifer o anrhydeddau dros y blynyddoedd am ei gwaith yn annog merched i fentro i feysydd technoleg. Roeddem yn hynod o falch o weld nifer o ferched iau yn ymh\u00e9l \u00e2'r pynciau STEM, a hynny wrth i gynrychiolwyr o fyfyrwyr Prifysgol Abertawe a\u2019r tu hwnt ymuno \u00e2'r digwyddiad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoffem fanteisio ar y cyfle hwn i ddiolch i'n holl westeion am gefnogi'r digwyddiad hwn, ynghyd \u00e2 chymeradwyo ein siaradwyr gwadd am eu cyflwyniadau hynod o ysbrydoledig ac am neilltuo eu hamser i hyrwyddo'r agenda bwysig hon. Roedd yn noson ragorol, a lwyddodd i gofleidio ethos Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Merched i'r dim, ac rydym yn hynod o falch o gynnal gwaddol ITWales, a hynny wrth i'r digwyddiad barhau i'r 20fed flwyddyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
