Y pynciau a ddewiswyd ganddi mewn TGAU yw Ffiseg, Cemeg, Bioleg, Daearyddiaeth ac, wrth gwrs, Cyfrifiadureg. Mae Merlin yn bwriadu astudio Lefel A mewn Cyfrifiadureg a mynd ymlaen i astudio naill ai Cyfrifiadureg neu bwnc cysylltiedig yn y Brifysgol.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ar \u00f4l mynychu gweithdy Technocamps yn ei hysgol, roedd Merlin am wybod sut allai wneud mwy o weithgareddau Cyfrifiadureg hwylus. Ers hynny, mae Merlin wedi bod yn mynychu'r Technoclub wythnosol ar \u00f4l ysgol ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe ers 6 blynedd - hi oedd yr unig ferch i ddechrau! Cyn COVID-19, cymerodd hi ran mewn rhaglenni a gweithgareddau ar gyfer myfyrwyr h\u0177n yn y clwb ac fel gwirfoddolwr, cefnogodd ddisgyblion iau yr ysgol iau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pan ddechreuodd Merlin yn Technocamps, nid oedd ganddi unrhyw brofiad o godio, dim ond mwynhad o Minecraft, Sherlock Holmes a phosau rhesymeg! Dysgodd Technocamps y pethau sylfaenol iddi, gan ddechrau gyda Scratch a Logo, a'i chyflwyno i dechnegau amgryptio. Roedd hyn hefyd yn darparu cymuned o bobl ifanc o'r un anian y gallai rannu ei hangerdd gyda nhw. Ni astudiodd y disgyblion cyfrifiadureg yn ysgol gynradd Merlin, felly roedd hyn yn arbennig o fanteisiol. Yn ystod y blynyddoedd diwethaf, yn ogystal \u00e2 mynediad i'r rhaglenni datblygu, mae Technocamps wedi darparu mentora a chefnogaeth i Merlin, gan ei hannog i fynd ymlaen a gwneud pethau y tu hwnt i Technoclub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae hi hefyd wedi cymryd rhan yn y rhaglen Cyfoethogi STEM a ariennir gan Gronfa Gymdeithasol Ewrop, sy'n cael ei chynnal gan Technocamps a rhwydwaith SEREN, gan astudio r\u00f4l technoleg mewn gwyddoniaeth, a'n Clwb Cyfoethogi STEM ar gyfer merched CS3 a 4 yn Ysgol Uwchradd Olchfa. Caniataodd Haf STEM Technocamps i Merlin barhau i ddysgu o bell a datblygu ei sgiliau rhaglennu mewn ystod o ieithoedd cyfrifiadurol, megis Python, Assembly a Greenfoot ac ymarfer ei meddwl cyfrifiadol ymhellach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae Merlin wedi darganfod ei bod hi wir yn mwynhau amgryptio a bod ganddi ddiddordeb arbennig mewn seiberddiogelwch. Mae hi bellach wedi cwblhau cwrs preswyl a hyfforddiant datblygiadol sy'n cael ei redeg gan y Cyngor Diogelwch Cenedlaethol (GCHQ) ac ar hyn o bryd mae'n ymgymryd \u00e2'r rhaglen Cyberdiscovery sy'n cael ei rhedeg gan Lywodraeth y DU mewn partneriaeth \u00e2 Sefydliad Sans. Mae ganddi hefyd fathodynnau iDEA Efydd ac Arian (sy'n cyfateb yn ddigidol a menter Gwobr Dug Caeredin) - nid yw'r Wobr Aur ar gael eto. Bwriad Merlin yw cael gyrfa mewn seiberddiogelwch, gan weithio i naill ai i GCHQ neu i Sefydliad Sans i ddechrau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cRwy\u2019n teimlo mor ffodus fy mod wedi cael mynediad at y staff a\u2019r adnoddau dysgu sydd ar gael gan Technocamps (a\u2019r athrawon Cyfrifiadureg rhagorol yn Olchfa). Hebddynt, efallai na fyddwn i erioed wedi cychwyn ar y daith hon. Mae Technocamps wedi rhoi sgiliau, profiad a hyder i mi, a gobeithiaf eich gwneud chi i gyd yn falch yn y dyfodol. Yn wir, rwy\u2019n teimlo mor gryf am bobl ifanc a hawliau digidol.
