Yn 14 oed, cymerodd Alfie Hopkin ran mewn cwrs adeiladu app iOS 2-ddiwrnod Technocamps ynghyd \u00e2 rhai myfyrwyr coleg. Mwynhaodd wneud y cwrs a threulio amser gyda phobl o'r un anian a oedd yn gallu rhoi cyngor iddo ar ei ddyfodol. Yn ddiweddarach y flwyddyn honno, lansiwyd ei ap cyntaf, a ddechreuodd ei yrfa mewn Peirianneg Meddalwedd.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cystadlodd Aflie yn WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017 mewn Dylunio a Datblygu Gwe. Mae'r gystadleuaeth yn gweld cannoedd ar filoedd o bobl ifanc o bob cwr o'r byd yn troi eu hob\u00efau yn broffesiwn a gwnaeth Alfie yn union hynny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yna, gwrthodwyd Alfie safle ar y cwrs israddedig o\u2019i ddewis gan nad oedd e wedi llwytho i gael gradd B yn ei TGAU Mathemateg. Pan ddaeth ef ar draws ein rhaglen Gradd-brentisiaeth, roedd y strwythur yn apelio ato gan nad oedd e eisiau bod yn fyfyriwr llawn-amser, ac roedd e wedi derbyn swydd yn ddiweddar, felly roedd y rhaglen yn gwneud synnwyr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrth astudio'r gradd-brentisiaeth, mwynhaodd Alfie her y pynciau mwy damcaniaethol, ond dysgodd mai rhannau ymarferol y cwrs oedd fwyaf addas iddo. Yn ddiweddar, graddiodd o'r cwrs 3 blynedd ac mae'n defnyddio'i sgiliau newydd yn ei r\u00f4l yn Probe-RTS \/ POET Systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae bellach yn canolbwyntio ar adeiladu casgliadau data awtomataidd ar gyfer y diwydiant gweithgynhyrchu yn ei r\u00f4l. Yn y dyfodol, hoffai weld ei gwmni'n mynd \u00e2 hyn ymhellach gyda thechnolegau eraill fel ML.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Alfie hefyd yn frwdfrydig am hyfforddi cystadleuwyr WorldSkills eraill a helpu mwy o bobl i mewn i'r diwydiant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRoedd y cwrs ei hun yn wych. Mae gan y Gradd-brentisiaeth gynllun gwych, a set anhygoel o fentoriaid. Mae'r sgiliau a ddysgais yn aruthrol yn fy helpu mewn amgylchedd personol a gwaith. Helpodd y cwrs i ddod \u00e2'r byd go iawn i'r byd academaidd a chredaf mai dyna pam roeddwn i mor hapus i fod ym mhob dosbarth. Roedd yn bleser bod ar y cwrs. Roedd y Gradd-brentisiaeth yn opsiwn llawer gwell i mi gan fy mod wedi gallu cymhwyso llawer o'r deunydd i fy ngwaith bron yn syth.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
