Mae Cheralyn yn ei hail flwyddyn yn astudio Peirianneg Meddalwedd Gymhwysol trwy ein rhaglen Gradd-brentisiaeth, ac mae hi wedi gweithio fel datblygwr gwe am naw mlynedd.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dechreuodd Cheralyn godio pan oedd hi'n 14 oed oherwydd gemau ar-lein (neopets.com!). Gadawodd yr ysgol yn 16 oed heb unrhyw gymwysterau ac enillodd ei phrofiad trwy weithio ar ei liwt ei hun a hunanddysgu, ac roedd hi\u2019n ysu am gyfle i astudio Cyfrifiadureg. Mae wedi bod yn rhywbeth y mae hi wastad wedi'i fwynhau ond wedi meddwl bod gwneud gyrfa allan ohoni ddim yn bosibil iddi. Roedd hi eisiau mynd i'r brifysgol i astudio ond oherwydd diffyg cymwysterau ac ymrwymiadau gwaith, roedd hi'n credu nad oedd hyn yn bosibilrwydd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae\u2019r rhaglen Gradd-brentisiaeth wedi rhoi cyfle iddi ddysgu\u2019r hyn na allai byth wedi dysgu gyda hunanddysgu ac wedi helpu i \u2018lenwi\u2019r bylchau\u2019 iddi. Bydd hefyd yn caniat\u00e1u i Cheralyn sicrhau cyflog cyfartal trwy'r diwydiant, a oedd yn broblem y daeth ar ei draws mewn sawl swydd oherwydd diffyg cymhwyster Cyfrifiadureg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Cheralyn yn mwynhau'r cwrs yn fawr ac mae'r rhaglen wedi ei helpu i deimlo\u2019n frwdfrydig am godio eto gan fod y cwrs yn addas i bawb ac wedi'i anelu at bob gallu. Mae hi wedi bod yn mwynhau her y modiwlau mathemategol a dysgu mewn amgylchedd ystafell ddosbarth, a ddaeth yn normal iddi yn gyflym. Ei hoff fodiwl yw Rhesymeg Gosodiadol gan ei fod yn dysgu i feddwl am y rhesymeg cyn y cod, sy'n symleiddio creu meddalwedd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fel datblygwr gwe yn Is-adran Gwasanaethau Digidol Heddlu De Cymru, mae Cheralyn eisoes wedi sylwi ar wahaniaeth yn ei set sgiliau a'i hyder, ac wedi bod yn defnyddio'r arbenigedd newydd hwn yn ei r\u00f4l. Mae hi hefyd yn gobeithio y bydd yn ei helpu i ddod yn uwch ddatblygwr ac i ddysgu datblygwyr eraill yn y dyfodol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
