Rydym wedi cymryd rhan mewn prosiect gyda gyda G\u0175yl Wyddoniaeth Caerdydd<\/a> a Impact Gamers<\/a>yn ddiweddar. Nod y prosiect, Impact Games, oedd ysbrydoli pobl ifanc i ddod yn wneuthurwyr gemau yn hytrach na chwaraewyr gemau! Bydd y prosiect yn gorffen gydag arddangosiad o'r gemau sydd wedi'u creu fel rhan o \u0174yl Wyddoniaeth Caerdydd ym mis Chwefror 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roeddem yn falch o weithio gyda Girlguiding Cymru<\/a> hefyd - sedyfliad sy'n canolbwyntio ar gefnogi datblygiad merched. Helpodd Impact Gamers, cwmni arobryn sydd wedi'i leoli yn Bradford, i ffurfio sesiynau i ddangos i bobl ifanc pa mor hwyl a hawdd y gallai codio fod. Cefnogon ni'r sesiynau gan ddefnyddio Cynllun Llysgenhadon STEM Prifysgol Caerdydd, lle mae myfyrwyr yn ymgymryd ag ystod o weithgareddau i hyrwyddo cyfrifiaduron a STEM i bobl ifanc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cafodd y merched arddangosiadau o gemau eraill y gallent gymryd ysbrydoliaeth ohonynt a datblygu rhywbeth eu hunain. Roedd y broses gyfan hon yn wych gan y fod merched yn mwynhau ac yn rhannu syniadau creadigol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gweithiodd y prosiect gyda naw gr\u0175p o ferched yn Girlguiding Cymru, dros chwe sesiwn anghysbell i greu naw g\u00eam ryngweithiol a oedd yn adlewyrchu ystod o bynciau ar thema Gwyddoniaeth. Y cyfranogwyr oedd yn gyfrifol am syniadau a gweithrediad y g\u00eam i gyd, ac roedd yn wych eu gweld yn magu hyder trwy eu hamser gyda ni. Roedd y pynciau roedd y merched yn eu hadlewyrchu yn cynnwys Archwilio'r Gofod, Glanhau'r Amgylchedd, ac ymatebion y corff i salwch. Fel y gallwch weld o'r delweddau, maen nhw wedi gwneud gwaith gwych.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roedd y prosiect hwn yn gyfle i ysbrydoli'r genhedlaeth nesaf o wyddonwyr benywaidd. Mae ffigyrau UCAS<\/a> yn dangos bod 16.2% o'r cymeriant 2020 ar gyfer Cyfrifiadureg yn fenywod, a oedd yn gynnydd o 1% ers y flwyddyn flaenorol. Er bod y niferoedd wedi bod yn cynyddu'n gyson dros y 5 mlynedd diwethaf, rydym yn gobeithio parhau i ddatblygu, grymuso ac annog merched i fynd i godio. Rydym yn falch o'r prosiect hwn ac o'r cyfranogwyr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
