Gan adeiladu ar Etifeddiaeth ITWales, cynhalion ni ddathliad blynyddol Diwrnod Rhyngwladol Menywod ar Ddydd Llun 8 Mawrth 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rydym yn falch ein bod wedi cynnal digwyddiad Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Menywod rhithwir eleni, gan groesawu dros 100 o gyfranogwyr i\u2019r dathliad. Mae'r noson wedi dod yn nodwedd reolaidd ar galendr cymdeithasol Cymru, gyda gwesteion fel arfer yn teithio o bob rhan o'r wlad i ddod. Er bod eleni yn edrych ychydig yn wahanol, gwnaethon ni'r mwyaf o'r dechnoleg sydd ar gael i ni trwy gynnal gweminar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eleni oedd y 21ain<\/sup> digwyddiad sy'n canolbwyntio ar fenywod mewn STEM. Y thema oedd Dewis i Herio: Cydraddoldeb Rhywiol mewn STEM. Roedd y gwesteion yn cynnwys:

I ddechrau'r noson, clywsom gan ein Swyddogion Addysgu Nia, Rama, Lauren, Catherine, Teri a Laura a drafododd eu profiadau fel menywod mewn STEM a sut maen nhw'n meddwl y gallwn herio'r status quo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roedd fideo Jacqueline de Rojas yn trafod cyflawniadau menywod mewn STEM, pa mor bell y mae cydraddoldeb rhywiol wedi dod a pha mor bell y mae'n rhaid iddo fynd:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOs ydych chi'n credu nad yw amrywiaeth o bwys neu'n broblem i bobl eraill i ddatrys, dewiswch yrfa mewn technoleg, mewn cyfrifiadureg, mewn maes digidol fel y gallwch chi ddod yn rhan o'r ateb.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roedd y noswaith wedi gorffen gyda sesiwn ysbrydoledig gan Nia M Davies, a drafododd llwybr ei gyrfa a\u2019r her o greu cynnwys gafaelgar ac addysgiadol i blant Cymru yn ystod y cyfnod cloi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Diwrnod Rhyngwladol Menywod yn ddiwrnod byd-eang sy'n dathlu cyflawniadau economaidd, gwleidyddol a chymdeithasol menywod yn y gorffennol, y presennol a'r dyfodol. Bob blwyddyn, mae miloedd o ddigwyddiadau'n cael eu cynnal ledled y byd, i ysbrydoli a dathlu cyflawniadau. Mae gwe fyd-eang o weithgarwch cyfoethog ac amrywiol yn cysylltu menywod o bedwar ban y byd, yn cynnwys ral\u00efau gwleidyddol, cynadleddau busnes, gweithgareddau llywodraethau, a digwyddiadau rhwydweithio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
