Er bod y nifer ysgytiol hon yn cynyddu, mae'n digwydd yn araf iawn. Mae cryn dipyn i'w wneud eto cyn i ni sylweddoli piblinell gytbwys rhwng y rhywiau o ymadawyr ysgol a graddedigion cwbl lythrennog sy'n ymuno \u00e2'r farchnad swyddi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un o'r prif faterion yw diffyg cynrychiolaeth enfawr yn y meysydd hyn. Gyda dynion ar hyn o bryd yn dominyddu'r diwydiannau Gwyddoniaeth, Technoleg, Peirianneg a Mathemateg, mae llawer llai o fodelau r\u00f4l benywaidd i ferched ifanc edrych atynt ac anelu atynt. Gydag aelod benywaidd o'r teulu, ffrind i'r teulu, athro neu berson enwog mewn STEM i ferched ei edmygu, maent yn llawer mwy tebygol o ystyried gyrfa mewn STEM yn opsiwn iddynt eu hunain. Y cwestiynau mwyaf cyffredin a ofynnir gan y merched yw sut mae diwrnod arferol yn edrych, beth yw eu hoff rannau o'r swydd, a beth yw rhannau gwaethaf y swydd. Mae hyn yn awgrymu bod diffyg gwybodaeth (neu fynediad at wybodaeth) yn ffactor wrth i ferched ystyried gyrfaoedd STEM, ac y gellid gwneud mwy i addysgu pobl ifanc ar fywyd gwaith menywod mewn STEM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Croesawodd ein digwyddiad Diwrnod Rhyngwladol y Menywod wyddonydd fforensig a Phrif Swyddog Gweithredol i dros 70 o ddisgyblion cofrestredig. Trafodon nhw ddewisiadau eu gyrfaoedd, eu modelau r\u00f4l, rhwydweithiau cymorth a'r heriau a'r manteision o weithio ym meysydd Gwyddoniaeth a Thechnoleg sy'n newid yn barhaus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae hefyd yn bwysig gwneud STEM yn hygyrch a chyffrous i bawb. Mae yna lawer o ystrydebau o ddosbarthiadau Mathemateg blinderus ac athrawon diflas, a - thra bod <em>Hidden Figures<\/em> a <em>Gravity <\/em>yn ffilmiau Hollywood enfawr \u2013 mae ffilmiau gyda gwyddonwyr a pheiriannwyr benywaidd yn brin.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yn Technocamps, rydym yn cynnig ystod o weminarau, gweithgareddau a gweithdai am ddim i blant ysgol yng Nghymru. Mae ein pecynnau gweithgaredd, gemau a chwisiau ar-lein yn dysgu'r pethau sylfaenol Cyfrifiadura i blant o bob oed, sydd angen ychydig neu ddim cefnogaeth gan rieni neu athrawon. Mae'r gweithgareddau hwyliog hyn yn gwneud Cyfrifiadura a phynciau STEM eraill yn hygyrch ac yn teimlo'n llai tebyg i'r ysgol. Gyda dros 50% o'n t\u00eem dosbarthu yn fenywod, mae ein gweithdai, clybiau rhithwir a ffrydiau byw hefyd yn blatfform anffurfiol lle mae merched yn fwy tebygol o ymgysylltu a chymryd rhan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rydym wedi gweithio gyda 60,000 o bobl ifanc, gyda 43% ohonynt yn fenywod. Mae merched 25% yn fwy tebygol na bechgyn o ddychwelyd ar \u00f4l eu gweithdy cyntaf.
