Mae Dan yn byw ger pentref bach Bethesda yng Ngogledd Cymru ac mae\u2019n astudio BSc mewn Systemau Gwybodaeth Gyfrifiadurol ym Mhrifysgol Bangor. Mae hefyd yn Swyddog Addysgu yng Nghanolfan Bangor Technocamps. Eleni, mae wedi gallu ehangu ei raglen radd, trwy gael cynnig blwyddyn leoliad gyda Technocamps yn dechrau ym mis Medi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roedd rhyngweithiad cyntaf Dan \u00e2 chyfrifiaduron yn yr ysgol gynradd, lle cafodd gyfle i weithio ar un o'r cyfrifiaduron hen ffasiwn a oedd yn ei ddosbarth. Roedd ganddo hefyd gyfrifiadur teulu a oedd yn cael ei gadw naill ai o dan y grisiau, neu mewn ystafell a alwyd yn \u2018Ystafell y Gyfrifiadur\u2019. Roedd wastad ganddo ddiddordeb mawr mewn defnyddio cyfrifiaduron a chonsolau gemau, gydag un o'i gonsolau symudol cyntaf yn Gameboy Advance SP mewn lliw coch. Fe wnaeth pethau bach fel hyn ysbrydoli Dan i fynd ar y llwybr i mewn i Gyfrifiadura. Roedd yn gwybod ei fod yn frwdfrydig am gyfrifiadura ac roedd e\u2019n aros i ddod o hyd i'w arbenigedd...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dyna pryd ddaeth Dan ar draws Technocamps gyntaf. Roedd ef ym Mlwyddyn 7 ac wedi mynychu gweithdy Technocamps ym Mhrifysgol Bangor, yr oedd ei fam-gu wedi ei argymell iddo. Yn y sesiwn, cafodd y dasg o adeiladu ei rwydwaith cyfrifiadurol ei hun. Mae Dan yn dal i gyfeirio at hyn fel un o'r profiadau mwyaf difyr a gafodd erioed, ac fe daniodd ymhellach ei frwdfrydedd i weithio yn y diwydiant cyfrifiadurol. Doedd e ddim yn gwybod bryd hynny y byddai dau o'r Swyddogion Addysgu yn y gweithdy hwnnw, Dr Dave Perkins a Joe Mearman, yn ddau o'i gydweithwyr yn Technocamps un diwrnod!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nid yw cynlluniau gyrfa Dan ar gyfer y dyfodol wedi eu penderfynu eto, ond mae wedi gwybod ers amser mai'r sector addysgu yw lle yr hoffai weithio. Mae'r profiadau y mae wedi'u cael gyda Technocamps, fel cynnal y sesiynau Technoclub wythnosol ac amryw weithdai eraill, wedi darparu llawer o sgiliau a gwybodaeth i Dan y gall eu defnyddio yn ei yrfa yn y dyfodol, yn ogystal ag yn ei radd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
