Yn 2003, sefydlwyd Technocamps yn uned fach o fewn <\/strong>Prifysgol Abertawe<\/strong><\/a> i fynd i'r afael \u00e2 phroblemau gyda dysgu cyfrifiadureg mewn ysgolion yng Nghymru. 18 mlynedd a llawer o gydweithrediadau yn ddiweddarach, mae Technocamps yn dathlu blwyddyn arall o gyllid strwythurol yr UE o <\/strong>Lywodraeth Cymru<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yn \u00f4l yn 2018, sicrhaodd Technocamps \u00a35.3M o gronfeydd yr UE (trwy Gronfa Gymdeithasol Ewrop) a chefnogaeth prifysgolion Cymru i ymgysylltu disgyblion ysgol uwchradd \u00e2 phynciau STEM, \u00a31.2M arall o gyllid Llywodraeth Cymru i ddarparu hyfforddiant i ddisgyblion ysgolion cynradd, a \u00a31.2M o gyllid HEFCW i gefnogi ymgysylltiad digidol ehangach o fewn busnesau Cymru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gyda'r arian hwn, mae'r prosiect wedi cynnwys pobl ifanc yn llwyddiannus mewn pynciau Cyfrifiadura a STEM; darparu hyfforddiant a datblygiad proffesiynol i athrawon ac addysgwyr; a gweithio gyda sefydliadau lleol a chenedlaethol i uwchsgilio staff a chreu cyfleoedd i sicrhau bod y biblinell ddigidol yn cael ei chynhyrchu'n lleol, gan helpu i ddarparu swyddi o ansawdd uchel a chefnogi economi Cymru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyd yn hyn, mae'r prosiect wedi denu cefnogaeth ariannol aruthrol gan Lywodraeth Cymru. Gyda'r buddsoddiad hwn, mae Technocamps wedi cefnogi ysgolion yng Nghymru i ymgysylltu \u00e2 dros 60,000 o ddisgyblion cynradd ac uwchradd mewn dros 350 o ysgolion ac wedi gallu cefnogi prosiectau uwchsgilio digidol gan gynnwys sefydlu a darparu pump Canolfan Dysgu Minecraft<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Technocamps yn cynnig gweithdai, seminarau a gweithgareddau STEM am ddim i ysgolion cynradd ac uwchradd yng Nghymru, DPP a chyrsiau hyfforddi i athrawon o bob disgyblaeth a Phrentisiaethau Gradd i fusnesau a diwydiant yng Nghymru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bydd yr estyniad cyllid Ewropeaidd a chefnogaeth Llywodraeth Cymru yn galluogi Technocamps i barhau \u00e2'n gwaith tan fis Medi 2022.Dywedodd yr Athro Faron Moller, Cyfarwyddwr Technocamps: \"<\/strong>Rydym yn ddiolchgar bod Llywodraeth Cymru wedi cydnabod ein harbenigedd a'n gallu unigryw i ysbrydoli'r genhedlaeth nesaf o wyddonwyr cyfrifiadurol trwy ein gwaith.
