Ar 5ed Gorffennaf 2017 daeth yr ail garfan o ddysgwyr i ennill y Tystysgrif Cyfrifiadura ar gyfer Athrawon lefel 3 (QCF) fel rhan o raglen flwyddyn DPP Technoteach. Cefnogir y rhaglen Technoteach DPP gan yr Academi Wyddoniaeth Genedlaethol trwy Lywodraeth Cymru er mwyn i athrawon wella sgiliau, i ddod yn gymwys ac yn hyderus yn eu gallu i gyflwyno'r cwricwlwm gwyddoniaeth gyfrifiadurol, yn ogystal \u00e2 chefnogi cyflwyniad y Fframwaith Cymhwysedd Digidol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caiff y cwrs ei achredu gan VTCT ac fe'i cyflwynir drwy gydol y flwyddyn academaidd (18 sesiwn diwrnod llawn) gydag athrawon yn cyfarfod unwaith bob pythefnos i ddatblygu eu dealltwriaeth o ystod o bynciau gwyddoniaeth gyfrifiadurol o roboteg i raglennu Python. Mae ffocws cryf o'r cwrs yn cynnwys paratoi cynlluniau gwaith ac adnoddau ategol fel y gall athrawon eu defnyddio ar unwaith yn eu hystafelloedd dosbarth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae'r cwrs unwaith eto wedi cael effaith fawr i'r athrawon dan sylw, eu hysgolion ac yn arbennig eu disgyblion. Dywedodd un athrawes uwchradd, Helen Clement o Ysgol Bro Dinefwr <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Mae fy hyder wrth addysgu'r pwnc yn fwy o lawer. Rwyf hefyd yn fwy drefnus gyda fy adnoddau ar gyfer cyflwyno i ddisgyblion.\" Aeth Helen ymlaen i ddweud \"Mae'r unedau gwahanol yn cwmpasu sbectrwm eang o'r pwnc sy'n galluogi gwahanol destunau a dulliau dysgu sydd i'w harchwilio. Rwyf wedi bod yn dysgu rhaglennu Python ac algorithmau i Flwyddyn 10 a 11, a ddefnyddir Raspberry Pis gyda Blwyddyn 12, a rwyf wedi dechrau addysgu'r Little Man Computer i Flwyddyn 12.\"<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA member of our staff has studied on your VTCT Certificate in Computing this year and already it has had a resounding impact on some of the learners in our school.  Of course, it has provided an excellent CPD opportunity and developed the staff member’s skills in Computing, but with this, her confidence has also flourished. This has translated, in a relatively short space of time, into a clear and positive impact on the digital skills of our learners.<\/em> <\/p>

O ddydd i ddydd mae hi bellach yn fwy parod i fod yn arloesol yn yr ystafell ddosbarth, ond mae hi hefyd wedi cael yr hyder i arwain t\u00eem yn y Gystadleuaeth Roboteg a gynhaliwyd yn ddiweddar.
