Yma, rydyn ni'n edrych ar sut mae wedi ei helpu i wella ei wybodaeth am gyfrifiadura a datblygu ei yrfa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae Luke wedi bod yn gweithio i Technocamps ers 5 mlynedd, i ddechrau fel Swyddog Addysgu a nawr fel Rheolwr Gweithrediadau yn ein prif ganolfan yn Abertawe. Roedd wastad ganddo ddiddordeb mewn cyfrifiaduron a thechnoleg pan oedd yn iau, ond yr unig gwrs oedd ar gael iddo yn yr ysgol oedd TGCh. Nid oedd hyn yn apelio at Luke ond roedd yn ei weld fel cyfle i ddefnyddio cyfrifiadur mewn gwersi, a oedd yn dal i deimlo\u2019n newydd-deb ar y pryd, felly dewisodd ei astudio. Roedd ganddo ddiddordeb mewn gemau fideo erioed ac ar un adeg, rhagwelodd ei hun naill ai fel athro neu ddatblygwr gemau, ac mae'n gwneud y ddwy r\u00f4l hyn i ryw raddau yn Technocamps heddiw. Gyda blwyddyn o brofiad fel athro Gwyddoniaeth, clywodd Luke am swydd wag yn Technocamps ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe a oedd yn ymddangos yn ffit berffaith a dechreuodd ddysgu ei hun sut i raglennu. Ar \u00f4l sicrhau\u2019r r\u00f4l, syrthiodd Luke mewn cariad ar unwaith \u00e2 natur greadigol rhaglennu wrth geisio dod o hyd i atebion i broblemau penodol. Mae\u2019n deg dweud, pe bai wedi cael ei gynnig yn yr ysgol, byddai Luke wedi neidio ar y cyfle i astudio Cyfrifiadureg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cyn gynted ag ymunodd Luke \u00e2'r t\u00eem yn Technocamps, cafodd ei daflu i'r pen dwfn. Gyda mis i fynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2 chysyniadau rhaglennu a sut i\u2019w rhoi ar waith yn Python cyn hwyluso cwrs achrededig 18 diwrnod Cyfrifiadura i Athrawon trwy gydol ei flwyddyn gyntaf yn y r\u00f4l, roedd yn dipyn o fedydd t\u00e2n. Roedd yn ffordd wych o ddysgu sut i addysgu\u2019r cysyniadau a datblygu ei ddealltwriaeth a sut i\u2019w gyfleu i\u2019r dysgwyr ar y cwrs. Roedd Luke hefyd yn datblygu ac yn cyflwyno gweithdai cyfrifiadureg ar gyfer disgyblion cynradd ac uwchradd, a dyna sut y daeth ar draws yr iaith raglennu <a href=\"https:\/\/scratch.mit.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scratch<\/a> y datblygodd ef ddiddordeb mawr ynddi. Ers hynny, mae Luke wedi gwneud cannoedd o raglenni a gemau, naill ai fel enghreifftiau a thiwtorialau, neu fel offer addysgu i helpu i ddysgu cysyniadau mwy haniaethol, yn ogystal \u00e2 gemau i ffrindiau eu mwynhau. Ar \u00f4l bod yn y r\u00f4l am 3 blynedd a theimlo'n gyfforddus iawn, penderfynodd Luke gofrestru ar ein rhaglen Gradd-brentisiaeth i wella ei ddealltwriaeth o bynciau uwch mewn Cyfrifiadureg a gwella ei addysgu o'r pwnc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoff agwedd Luke o\u2019r cwrs oedd y modiwlau rhaglennu, yn ogystal \u00e2\u2019r modiwlau mwy damcaniaethol a mathemategol. O ystyried ei gefndir mewn Ffiseg Ddamcaniaethol, roedd yn mwynhau gallu cymhwyso sgiliau mathemategol tebyg a meddwl rhesymegol i bwnc newydd yr oedd ganddo lawer o ddiddordeb ynddo. Roedd llawer o'r tasgau portffolio seiliedig ar waith ar y Gradd-brentisiaeth yn cynnig cyfle i roi'r agweddau damcaniaethol i gyd-destun cyfarwydd trwy ganiat\u00e1u iddo gymhwyso'r hyn a ddysgwyd i agweddau ar ei r\u00f4l yn Technocamps. Prosiect y flwyddyn olaf oedd ei hoff agwedd arno gan ei fod yn gallu cynhyrchu g\u00eam symudol yn ymwneud \u00e2 phynciau Seiberddiogelwch a fydd yn ddefnyddiol ar gyfer gweithdai Technocamps yn y dyfodol, yn ogystal \u00e2 myfyrwyr ar y Gradd-brentisiaethau yn y dyfodol. Nododd Luke mai'r rhan orau oedd bod y cwrs cyfan yn hollol rhad ac am ddim a bod lefel y gefnogaeth gan y staff yn uwch nag y mae wedi ei gael ar gyrsiau gradd yn y gorffennol. Mae ein staff addysgu hefyd yn agored i adborth a chwestiynau gan fyfyrwyr i sicrhau bod y cwrs yn brofiad dysgu dwy ffordd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roedd heriau i\u2019r cwrs, hefyd, gan gynnwys hunan-gymhelliant, cydbwyso\u2019r cwrs \u00e2 swydd amser llawn a phandemig byd-eang.
