{"id":9924,"date":"2023-03-02T08:47:16","date_gmt":"2023-03-02T08:47:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.technocamps.com\/?p=9924"},"modified":"2023-03-02T09:03:47","modified_gmt":"2023-03-02T09:03:47","slug":"technocamps-first-lgbtq-stem-careers-webinar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.technocamps.com\/cy\/2023\/03\/02\/technocamps-first-lgbtq-stem-careers-webinar\/","title":{"rendered":"Gweminar Gyrfaoedd STEM LGBTQ+ cyntaf i Technocamps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ar Ddydd G\u0175yl Dewi 2023, cynhalion ni ein gweminar Gyrfaoedd STEM LGBTQ+ cyntaf, a gyflwynwyd gan Laura Roberts, Cydlynydd Rhanbarthol De-ddwyrain Cymru.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gyda thri chyflwynwr o gymuned STEM LGBTQ+ a Mark Etheridge, Curadur Hanes LGBTQ+ o Amgueddfa Cymru, roedd y sgwrs yn ymdrin \u00e2 gwahanol feysydd ymchwil cemeg, bioleg, ffiseg a chyfrifiadura, yn ogystal \u00e2\u2019u profiadau fel aelodau LGBTQ+ o\u2019r gymuned STEM mewn prifysgolion ar draws y DU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein gwestai cyntaf oedd <strong>Lara Lalemi<\/strong> \u2013 ei rhagenwau yw hi\/ei, ac mae hi'n nodi ei bod hi'n gwiar. Lara yw Prid Swyddog Gweithredol <a href=\"https:\/\/www.creativetuitioncollective.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Creative Tuition Collective<\/a> ac mae hi hefyd yn fyfyriwr PhD Cemeg Aerosol ym Mhrifysgol Bryste. Mae Lara yn darparu gwasanaeth dysgu STEM cynhwysol a hygyrch am ddim, cymorth iechyd meddwl i fyfyrwyr a gweithdai dadgoloneiddio STEM. Roedd brwdfrydedd Lara dros fod allan ac yn gwiar ac yn falch, a\u2019r llawenydd o gael teulu a chydweithwyr LGBTQ+ cefnogol yn heintus. Roedd hi\u2019n gallu rhannu ei brwdfrydedd dros gefnogi pobl LGBTQ+ a BAME trwy ei gwaith tiwtora yn ogystal \u00e2 thrwy ei rhwydweithiau STEM yr helpodd ei PhD i\u2019w hwyluso. Roedd hi hefyd yn awyddus i bwysleisio bod rhywioldeb yn hyblyg, ac mae dod i ddeall hyn wedi ei helpu i ddod o hyd i lawenydd a derbyniad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae ein hail gwestai, <strong>Aidan Seely<\/strong> \u2013 sy'n defnyddio'r rhagenwau ei\/ef, ac yn nodi ei fod yn ddyn hoyw \u2013 yn Ddarlithydd mewn Ffarmacoleg ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe, ac yn Gyfarwyddwr ar y Rhaglen Ffarmacoleg Feddygol. Siaradodd am ei lwybr anhraddodiadol drwy'r brifysgol, tynnodd sylw at bwysigrwydd profiad gwaith a rhwydweithio gyda'r bobl iawn i gyrraedd lle rydych chi eisiau bod yn eich gyrfa. Ef yw\u2019r person cyntaf yn ei deulu i fynd i\u2019r brifysgol, a\u2019r aelod agored hoyw cyntaf, roedd yn agored iawn am ei brofiadau a phrofodd i fod yn eiriolwr gwych ar gyfer y gymuned LGBTQ+, gan gyfuno ei arbenigedd academaidd \u00e2 gwella gwybodaeth gyhoeddus am yr anghydraddoldebau a wynebir gan bobl LGBTQ+.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein trydydd gwestai oedd curadur Hanes LGBTQ+ Amgueddfa Cymru, <strong>Mark Etheridge<\/strong>, a wnaeth trafod y casgliad o eitmau sy'n rhan o arddangosda <a href=\"https:\/\/museum.wales\/stfagans\/whatson\/11550\/Wales-isProud-\/\"><em>Cymru... Balchder<\/em><\/a> , sydd i'w weld am ddim yn Amgueddfa Werin Cymru Sain Ffagan tan fis Gorffennaf 2023. Dangoswyd eitemau y mae Mark wedi\u2019u casglu o bob rhan o Gymru, gan gynnwys bathodynnau, baneri, tebotau ac arwyddion, i gyd yn gysylltiedig \u00e2 grwpiau, symudiadau a phrotestiadau LGBTQ+ Cymru. Roedd gan yr eitemau i gyd stori bersonol, sy'n agwedd bwysig o'r casgliad. Gellir gweld yr eitemau ar-lein <a href=\"https:\/\/museum.wales\/collections\/online\/?field0=string&amp;value0=LGBTQ&amp;field1=with_images&amp;value1=1\">yma<\/a>, gan eu bod nhw wedi cael eu digido.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein gwestai olaf oedd <strong>Daisy Shearer<\/strong>, sy'n defnyddio'r rhagenwau hi\/nhw ac maent yn uniaethu fel anneuaidd a chwiar\/panrywiol\/demiromantig. Mae Daisy yn gyfathrebwr ac addysgwr gwyddoniaeth brwdfrydig sydd \u00e2\u2019r awydd i wneud STEM yn fwy hygyrch a chynhwysol, yn enwedig ar gyfer pobl anabl a niwroamrywiol. Maent newydd orffen astudio ar gyfer PhD mewn ffiseg materol cyddwyso arbrofol yn y<a href=\"https:\/\/www.surrey.ac.uk\/photonics-quantum-sciences-group\"> Gwyddorau Ffotoneg a Chwantwm<\/a> ym Mhrifysgol Surrey yn y<a href=\"https:\/\/www.surrey.ac.uk\/advanced-technology-institute\"> Sefydliad Technoleg Uwch<\/a>. Mae gan Daisy frwdfrydedd dros gyfathrebu gwyddoniaeth, ac maen nhw wedi gwneud hyn yn eu swydd yn y Ganolfan Cyfrifiadura Cwantwm Cenedlaethol. Trafododd Daisy yn agored eu brwydrau gydag iechyd meddwl a deall eu hunaniaeth yn ystod eu cyfnod yn yr ysgol a\u2019r brifysgol, a thynnodd sylw at ba mor fuddiol oedd hi i gael cefnogaeth, gan deulu, ffrindiau a gweithwyr proffesiynol. Esbonion nhw esbonio sut roedd cael diagnosis o awtistiaeth wedi eu helpu i wneud synnwyr o pam roedden nhw\u2019n aml yn gweld pethau\u2019n anodd ac yn ddryslyd.
