Scratch is a colourful, user friendly, free software package, designed with learning and education in mind.

With Scratch, you can program your own games and animations, and share your creations with people all over the world.

Scratch incorporates the basics of computer science and, more importantly, has a “fun factor” with the use of sound, imagery and editing tools.

Scratch helps young people to ‘think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically’ and allows them to learn about the importance of clear, concise, well sequenced instructions for the computer to interpret



Kinect2Scratch is an application that can be installed to enable use of the XBOX Kinect sensor to interact with a game created on the Scratch drag and drop programming interface.

S4A - Scratch for Arduino

S4A stands for Scratch for Arduino, the software which can be downloaded onto either Mac, Linux or Windows looks similar to “Scratch” but there are some additional blocks on this enabling you to interact with your Arduino.
