Our WiST events are aimed at women in the technology sector (or with a keen interest in the industry) to learn from other inspirational women and network with like-minded people. All events are entirely free thanks to funding support from the Welsh Government’s European Social Fund.

Our next event will take place via Zoom between on Friday 13th May. The lunchtime session will provide an opportunity to hear from our speaker, ask any questions you have and network with like-minded people in a relaxed forum.

The way people spend is changing, and so is The Royal Mint. In 2018 Anne Jessopp became the first female Chief Executive of The Royal Mint in its 1,100 year history. She has led the transformation of the business from a manufacturer of coins to a premium British brand offering investments, collectables and luxury jewellery on a global scale.

Anne will discuss her route to becoming a CEO, the challenges she has faced, and how she has led the business to adapt to the ever-evolving business world in which we live today.
