Technocamps are supporting a new pilot course for a Computer Science Progression Pathway in Minecraft Education which will have Clear, Cohesive Progression from Progression Steps 2 to 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pilot will be split across Progression Step 2 (Lower Primary), Progression Step 3 (Upper Primary), Progression Step 4 (Lower Secondary) and Progression Step 5 (Middle\/Upper Secondary). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minecraft are looking for schools to be part of a pilot programme for this pathway! Numbers are limited for the pilot; we require approximately 10 schools to participate in the pilot at each Progression Step level. Ideally schools should participate in more than one Progression Step area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: schools can apply for more than one educator to undertake the professional development course and participate in the pilot.   

To be accepted to be part of the pilot an educator\/school needs to have good Minecraft Education skills (this is not for complete beginners!)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal is to develop our learners to be Creative Coders and Content Creators by taking them on a journey from: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) computational thinking that introduces concepts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 b) computational thinking that builds Block-based programming<\/p>\n\n\n\n

c) transition from Block-based to Python then onto<\/p>\n\n\n\n

d) creating content in Python
