Last week was the end of our three week Summer School Programme with the students from Ysgol Bae Baglan who have participated in a 5-week IRONMAN Programme created by Yellowsands Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During their time with us, the Technocamps Delivery Officers taught the students STEM-based activities such as coding, maths, how to build spaghetti bridges, Scratch modelling, creating parachutes, building rockets along with many other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students all completed the three-week course, gained new friends and graduated with advanced knowledge that may help them pass their GCSE exams successfully.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is what one of the students said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The Summer of 2019 couldn\u2019t have gone any better. I am so grateful to have met such an incredible group of people. We\u2019ve only known each other for three weeks but we unite and have become a family. I have pushed myself to the limit, achieved things I never thought I could do. I have answered questions and engaged with staff. We have made private jokes like Frank, triangles and spaghetto (one piece of spaghetti). The experience overall was flawless.
