Graduated from Swansea University but finding it hard to get a foothold in the job market? Curious about AI and digital but not sure where to start? Looking to develop valuable research skills? This could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

NextGenAI is an intensive six-week bootcamp designed to give you practical, in-demand skills in AI and programming - no tech background required. Whether you studied history, biology, business or anything in between, this bootcamp will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to pursue new career opportunities in a rapidly growing sector.

Key Information

What you'll gain:

You'll learn Python programming from scratch through a fully funded, accredited Swansea University course worth 10 credits - perfect if you've never written a line of code before. By the end, you'll have a solid foundation in one of the most widely-used programming languages in the world.

But this isn't just about sitting in a classroom. You'll work alongside academics from departments including Computer Science and Physics on a real interdisciplinary research project, exploring how AI is being applied across different fields. It's a chance to see how AI works in practice, contribute to genuine research, and build something you can talk about in interviews. At the end of the bootcamp, you'll present your work - a great portfolio piece and proof of what you can do.

You'll also get dedicated employability support throughout, including help with your CV, interview preparation, and developing the broader skills employers are looking for.
