Tell us a little about your organisation.
Volcano Theatre is an independent theatre company and community arts centre based in Swansea city centre. In addition to devising and performing original theatre here in Swansea and world-wide, we run a programme of creative opportunities free of charge for our local community.
How did you get started working with Technocamps?
We were approached by Technocamps with the offer of working together to provide workshops for the community at our venue. This was an exciting opportunity for us to be able to offer something new to our existing community and to invite new people into the venue.
Which part of the work with Technocamps has been most beneficial for your organisation, and why?
Working with Technocamps has brought new people to Volcano and helped us to reach new audiences.
How do you think the skills and knowledge provided by Technocamps have benefited your organisation?
Some of our staff were interested in the workshop subjects and were able to attend in addition to existing beneficiaries. Working with Technocamps allows us to diversify our offer and we hope to continue the relationship.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Working with Technocamps has been a smooth process. Communication has been easy and staff have been reliable, friendly and punctual. The workshops had a wider reach when marketed directly by Technocamps and this is something to keep in mind for future collaboration.
